Wow! (Yes, I love the song Raise Up) I must say that this is the busiest week that I have had in the last 2 years. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. I'm just BEAT! Trying to fight off a cold when you are doing 5 events in 4 days and separating Cub Scout Popcorn because you 'accidentally' volunteered to be the Popcorn Kernel, well, your head feels like it will explode. But, today was my day of rest, (or as restful as this momma ever gets) I like to work. I LOVE my job. Think about it. How many of you can honestly say that you love your job. Ask me that question a few months ago, psshh, I probably would have thrown up. Yep! Every Sunday night, I would get physically sick. I would cry on my way to work 3 or 4 mornings a week. I found Pink Zebra around the same time I was transferred to the dreaded position and it was my happy place. Pink Zebra weekends, got me through those horrible Monday thru Fridays. I did it. I worked it while I had a full time job and a full time family and it never felt like work.
This past summer, my husband sat me down and said he thought I should quit teaching (after 7 years) and give Pink Zebra my all. He saw how far some of my mentors have gone and noticed the potential of both me and the company. I wrote that letter of resignation and haven't looked back. But you know what I have done? I have worked my butt off. SInce resigning form my full time teaching job (3 months) I have personally added 17 people to my team and I pride myself on the fact that they aren't just numbers. Over 75% are kicking butt! I am so lucky to have such an amazing team. The leaders that are being born and that are seeing this amazing opportunity are blossoming faster everyday.
I have made Pink Zebra my all and everyone is happier. My husband jokes that I am a nicer person now! My family is happier, I am happier. I am able to juggle my successful Pink Zebra business with being a work from home mom and wife. We do so much more as a family now, not just because of the income from PZ, but also the time it allows me to have. As a teacher, I would never be able to vacation 5 times in a school year! That is our plan for 2015. I can't wait to share my Pink Zebra world with everyone.
Please stick around to see how this mom has become a master juggler!
