There are some people out there that cringe when they get wind of change. I mean, it was working BEFORE so why do we need to CHANGE anything? It may not have been perfect but hey! Who cares! That's how its always been done. There is no need to come in here and start making changes.
Think about it. Let's start with something small. Have you ever attempted to rearrange the kitchen? You know, change things up so that the kitchen is more functional? Those first few weeks are ROUGH and if you share your home with others, those first few weeks are even worse for you! "Mom, where are the glasses?" "Honey, why did we move the pots and pans?" "We left the dishes int he dishwasher because we don't know where you moved everything. (And it is to difficult and traumatic for us to open the cabinets and see where things belong.)" It is almost like it would be better if you wouldn't have changed things at al. After a while, you start to notice that the dishes are put away faster. Like items are housed with like items and by golly, you are a freakin genius! Change is good!
Now what about when you decide to change your hairstyle. You think about it and maybe even cut out some pictures from a magazine. You play with it in the mirror for a while checking to see what you would look like with you hair shorter, or a different color. It's scary! I know that it grows back but we all know that it takes ten times as long for a hated hair cut to grow back than one that you love. But, you do it. You take the plunge! You decide that you are worth that change and you are gonna rock that cut! Although you were scared and the first couple times at home you had to figure out how in the heck that stylist made it look that gorgeous when you walked out of the salon, you figure it out. Change is good!
What about that job that you hate? Or maybe you don't hate it, but there are other places you would rather be. Maybe you would rather be at home with your kids, or traveling with your friends or family. You sit around and wish your life away. "I can't wait for the weekend." "I can't wait to retire." You see that others are making changes and think, "Wow, they are so lucky. I wish I could do that."
Let me tell you, YOU CAN! Yes! Change is scary. Yes! You may have to work a little harder for a while, but isn't 5 years of hard work to be your own boss better than 40 years of not as hard work to always be told what to do? It can be done and I can show you how.
I was a teacher in a rough district for 7 years. For 7 years, I wished my life away. "I can't wait for the weekend." "I can't wait for summer." "I can't wait for Thanksgiving break, Christmas, break, Spring break, Prom break (yes, we had 5 days off for prom...)" It really didn't hit me until my kids started growing. I realized that I wasn't just wishing my life away, I was wishing theirs away too.
I started selling Pink Zebra on the side while I worked full time, did 15 hours a week of home bound instruction, was a wife of one, mom of two, and still managed to socialize. After two and a half years, I was able to quit teaching and work Pink Zebra full time. That was a HUGE change and VERY scary. I was the primary bread winner. I held insurance, teacher insurance. We had to rob Peter to pay Paul a few times but we did it. Now I can volunteer at my kids school when I want. We vacation more and worry less. Heck, my husband is set to quit his job in 2017. He was all in after our first FREE all inclusive trip.
We have a kick@ss team that is motivated and helpful. It is such an amazing feeling seeing others make their dreams happen. Some are looking for friendship, some vacation money and same are looking for a career change. Whatever CHANGE you are seeking, we can help. Don't waste time wishing your life away. Step up, take control and make a change. It doesn't have to be with Pink Zebra. Maybe it isn't even financial. Whatever it is, make a plan and take that leap. You don't want to look back in 20 years and think, "Why didn't I make that change?"
After 7 years of teaching full time, I was able to quit teaching and work full time from home! I love that I can spend so much time with my family. No more missed life events, even the little ones. Pink Zebra has changed my life. Now, I help others create their own strong economy allowing them to work from home, pay off debt and follow their dreams.
